A deluxe day retreat for women in midlife that will inform, empower and deeply nourish your beautiful body and soul! With a range of workshops, a delicious nutritiously tailored lunch, a woodland walk, specialist yoga for hormone balancing and a sumptuous sound bath, this is a truly extra-special day that aims to enrich, support and soothe.
And all this set in a stunning converted barn in the grounds of Kettlestone House surrounded by acres of gorgeous fields and woodland. A place where you can really disconnect from the world and absorb the space, calm and beauty that surrounds you.
Elements of the day:
Specialist Yoga for Midlife – a combination of yoga movement, strength-building, brain stimulation, pelvic floor activation and deep, restorative release of muscles led by Nell qualified in Yoga for all Stages of Menopause
Nutrition workshop - As women navigate life-cycle transitions, nutrition plays a critical role in managing and promoting overall wellness. This workshop explores how diet and lifestyle choices can make a positive impact on the menopause experience, helping to maintain energy, manage weight, support bone density, and alleviate common symptoms. Join us to learn practical, science-backed strategies to embrace menopause with resilience and vitality!Led by nutritional consultant Gina Hursey of the Noo Noo Project
Woodland Walk – Come on a refreshing and invigorating 40-minute winter woodland walk through the beautiful acres of nature at Kettlestone House
Lunch and grazing table – expertly crafted nutrition bowls and grazing boards to accompany a winter warmer stew! All prepared and provided by Gina from the workshop, ready for us when we return from our winter woodland walk!
Hormone Health workshop – a talk followed by Q&A with Donna Loose, a women’s health specialist nurse who will be covering the peri/menopause journey and how to prepare for this stage of your life with lifestyle changes, HRT and/or alternative options
Restorative yoga & sound bath – Finish the day with deep nervous system regulation as we move out of the thinking mind for a while and let ourselves melt into a quieter state of being with gentle restorative relaxation, poetry and the immersive release and journey of sound

• Yoga gear and yoga mat (if you have one) for first part of day
• Warmer clothes and shoes for walking
