An evening of movement, mindfulness and science to support hormonal change
Come and explore a range of different techniques to balance hormones, to reconnect to your body and to create a positive mindset for midlife. Nell is a specialist in Yoga for all Stages of the Menopause and supports women in moving through midlife with strength, balance and a deeper sense of self.
In this workshop we will begin with specialist yoga movement for midlife (no previous experience of yoga is necessary) which has a specific focus on mindfulness, building muscle and bone strength and physical connection. We then introduce additional, science-backed practices that can help to manage various hormonal symptoms of peri/menopause like hot flushes, brain fog and pelvic floor dysfunction.
After a break for tea and home-made muffins, we will move to the second part which is deep rest and release, helping to bring the nervous system (often over-stimulated with hormonal change) back into regulation. We will do this with restorative yoga, poetry and sound vibration. A wonderful way to end the session which will leave you feeling peaceful, positive and grounded.
Please note – no prior knowledge of yoga is necessary
